  1. What is the browsable version of Yell.com mobile?

    The browsable version has been specifically developed for users who don't have a mobile device that supports the full version of Yell.com mobile. It enables you to get business listings from Yell.com on your mobile phone (if it is WAP or GPRS-enabled).

  2. What information can I access using the browsable version?

    You will have access to the same information as on Yell.com, including maps and directions information for individual businesses.

  3. How does the browsable version work?

    Open the mobile browser on your mobile device and enter the address mobile.yell.com. (Remember to save it to your list of favourites).

    After a few seconds you will see the Yell.com mobile homepage appear.

    Enter your request. You can search by product or service type ("What") or for a specific business by name ("Who"), or simply select from a list of popular categories. Then enter the location and select "Find". After a few seconds the service will return a number of matching results directly to your mobile.

    For each of the results you have the options to select the business and call it directly or request a map and directions to help you find it.

  4. How much does it cost?

    Yell will not charge you for using the browsable version of Yell.com mobile. However, please note operator rates apply to all data service usage.

  5. Do I have to register for Yell.com mobile?

    No, there's no need to register.

  6. Do I have to be on any specific mobile network to use Yell.com mobile?

    No, it will operate on all the major UK mobile networks. If you do experience any problems you should contact your mobile service provider.

    No, you can enter lower case, upper case or any combination.
