There are several things that can affect how fast Yell.com mobile maps works on your mobile device, including: how powerful the device is, whether it's on a 3G or a GPRS network, and what type of memory you have saved Yell.com mobile to.
Yell.com mobile maps will work faster on 3G networks than GPRS networks and the more powerful the device is, the faster it will work—but you can't change either of those without changing your device (or your contract).
However, some devices give you the choice of installing Yell.com mobile maps to phone memory or mass memory/memory card.
For best performance, make sure you install Yell.com mobile maps to phone memory.
(If you have already installed Yell.com mobile maps to your device, you may have to re-install it to find out which type of memory it is in.)

Both services provide access to all the Yell.com listings information.
The main difference is that the full version offers many more features than the browsable one, including elements like "Auto-suggest", "Save result to contacts" and "Send details to friend". We recommend that if your mobile supports the full version then you use it.
There is no intention to close the other mobile services that we provide. Yell.com mobile maps has been developed to offer an improved experience to mobile internet users, but since not all users have mobile devices that work with the new service, we will continue to offer the other ones as well.
We respond to all requests by return. However, sometimes the returning message carrying the link to install the service can be delayed across the mobile network.

The service on your device will be active as long as the device can make calls. Once you have cancelled the device, the service will not operate.
Yell.com mobile maps has been developed to operate on the most stable (or latest) versions of the mobile devices in the list. Occasionally problems are experienced with the early releases of some mobile devices. To overcome these problems manufacturers often upgrade the "firmware" on the mobile device. If the problem persists, we recommend you contact your mobile device dealer and ask them to check that you have the latest version of the firmware on your mobile device.
Yes, you can still access the service. Remember that you will be using international roaming. There can be specific local problems that are outside of our control. You can't search for international numbers using Yell.com mobile maps.
Yell.com mobile maps can easily be removed by simply deleting it from the "Applications" area on your device. Details of how to do this should be in your mobile device's manual.
Possibly. Yell.com mobile maps has been developed to operate on any mobile device, irrespective of the mobile service provider. However, we cannot guarantee that it will operate on an international mobile device. You will, however, not be able to register with Yell.
If you do experience issues, you will be able to use the browsable version (URL: mobile.yell.com).
When requesting Yell.com mobile maps on a P series device, the full version is delivered to the web browser area of the device and not the message area. Once you have requested it, go to the web browser option where you will find the returned link to install the service.
On the Nokia 6500 Classic, your access point is not configured to allow network access to the application.
Try the following: 1) Exit the application; 2) Go to "Menu"; 3) Select "Settings" then "Configuration" and change the "Preferred access pt." to the web access point provided by your network operator. (For O2, for example, select "O2 MobileWeb" from the list of available access points.)
On the Nokia 6500 Classic, downloaded applications are automatically installed under "Menu" then "Apps." then "Games".
